After countless flights and train commutes we realised that neck pillows simply do not work. So, we created the Avion Jacket. Sleep anywhere and feel rested with the jacket that actually holds your head.
I work a FIFO roster and do 8 days on and 6 days off.This means I fly every week and I have been using the Avion Jacket every time I fly.It has been really effective and allowed me to sleep each time I use it. During a one and a half hour flight
I get to sleep for most of that and it’s great to get some sleep before a long day at work on arrival.

I found the jacket a little bit fiddly to get comfortable in the first time I
used it, but after that I got used to how to adjust it and was able to get to sleep on the flight home without waking up from my head falling forward.It’s really comfortable and effective.

You need to have the seat pad out before you sit down so you are not trying to do that while you are sitting on a packed plane.If it’s out before you sit down it’s easy to get it in the right position to pull down on it and get the tension through the hood lining. The
bamboo is really comfortable to wear and have against your forehead. The hood lining is also really comfortable and makes it super easy to fall asleep in quite quickly.

Hidden internal webbing connects the hood support at the back of the neck to the top of the seat pad.
The seat pad comes out when needed or otherwise stays stowed away, out of sight.
To set tension on the hood for sleeping, the wearer must: 1) Have the hood over the forehead 2) Tilt head back slightly to create some slack 3) Pull down on the seat pad until webbing is pulled taut 4) Sit on seat pad and let body weight anchor the hood in place. Once you adjust your head to one side your head CANNOT fall forward.
A double-sided zip that runs the width of the hem keeps the seat pad securely hidden when not required.
